Projects
Sports Content Creation
While an undergraduate student at Monmouth University, I was able to kickstart my career in sports by working with the Monmouth Digital Network to help with the broadcasting of our Division One sports games along with also being the Social Media Coordinator of our Sports Industry Club. I was able to use that work to land a role as a content creator for the WalterPicks app, an app that uses AI algorithms to assist in fantasy football and sports betting decisions. I now post short-form content relating to fantasy football, sports betting, and the Chicago Bears to an audience of over 15,000.
Sports Broadcasting
Another opportunity I was given through Monmouth Digital Network was having the chance to host pregame shows for several Division One sports and announce a Division One lacrosse game as a play-by-play announcer live on FloSports. Alongside my cohosts, I was able to derive questions, interview coaches, and break down matchups for crucial games such as the Men's Soccer CAA Semifinal game.
Above are two pregame shows hosted by myself along with Chloe Gosk and Mairead Spellacy for the Monmouth University field hockey and soccer teams
Podcacting
One of my earliest experimentations with content creation was as the creator, host, and producer of Festive Bird podcast, which I started with my roommate Derek Reina during our freshman year of college. Festive Bird was a project we took on together for six seasons across several years. Additionally, I created, hosted, and produced a mini-series podcast titled "Bear Necessities" which is available on SoundCloud that covers the Chicago Bears. I was able to use this experience to host two different radio shows on WMCX 88.9.
Television
While participating as an active member of Monmouth University's TV station, Hawk TV and acting as both the Promotions Director and Webmaster for the station, I took on the role of producer for two different shows: "Untitled Cooking Show" and "Triple Scoop." These shows, among others through Hawk TV, have given me the necessary experience to work both on-camera and behind the scenes.
Social Media
Beyond my work with sports, I have been creating social media content for years through several jobs such as with Weed Man Lawn Care, Festive Bird, 16 Strong Project, Hawk TV, and more. I have been able to gain a grasp on current trends, application algorithms, and creative content, and always try to stay ahead of whatever comes next.
Volunteer/Non-Profit Work
During the summer of 2021, I worked as an intern for the 16 Strong Project. While interning, I created posts using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for their Instagram account and I also created and managed a brand new TikTok account as well. I now act as a youth advocate volunteer for the organization, helping spread the inspiring message of 16 Strong. Additionally, I was able to produce several charity shows through Hawk TV, helping raise funds for amazing causes such as the Pajama Program, CHOP, and more.

Journalism
During the summer of 2021, I had the pleasure of being a part of an online journalism boot camp hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). A few other Monmouth students and I worked together with the help of our mentors to put together this story which I am incredibly proud of. I now regularly freelance for the Chestnut Hill Local.
Voice
With years of experience as a radio personality on WMCX 88.9 and as a podcaster, my comfort behind the mic has grown immensely. This experience allowed me to have the opportunity to do the voice-over for the video shown at Monmouth University's commencement ceremony. Continuing in broadcasting and branching out into voice acting are both interests of mine that I look forward to exploring!
